Short Description Exclusive and luxury villa in Tuscany with 3 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms and an interesting farmers` crafts museum, located near Florence (28 km), in the small village of Figline Valdarno, in the Chianti region. Description External Description: The Viesca Estate expands over approximately 140 hectares of one of the most striking areas in the Tuscan countryside: the Chianti region. A property of the Ferragamo family, the Estate is composed of the main villa Villa Viesca, which dates back to the Renaissance, and six farmhouses, recently restored with utmost attention to every detail. All of the properties have been furnished with Salvatore Ferragamo fabrics, remaining faithful to the authentic style of Tuscany A Renaissance chapel and the farmers` crafts museum complete the Estate. Internal Description: Villa Viesca is found in the centre of the Estate and it is surrounded by an expansive 5000 m² park. An elegant villa dating back to the Renaissance, redecorated in 1965 and recently furnished with modern accessories. It is set on two levels. On the ground floor there is the homely entrance, the study/television room with small fireplace, the blue lounge with the valuable coffered ceiling, the yellow lounge with the elegant sandstone fireplace, and the large dining room. Many doors open onto the large terracotta terraces, perfect for al fresco lunches and dinners. Joined onto the dining area are the sizeable kitchen and the breakfast room. On the first floor, to the left there is a large entrance with coffered ceiling which leads to a double bedroom with en suite bathroom (with bathtub and shower) and a double bedroom with bathroom (with bathtub). To the right you access three bedrooms: one twin with en suite bathroom (with shower); a double bedroom, another twin bedroom, and a bathroom (with tub). On the ground floor of the villa is the Renaissance chapel, which can hold up to 25 people and is dedicated to Saint Giovanni Bosco, and the interesting farmers crafts museum with around 300 carving instruments catalogued. This is a very exclusive property, and for every booking request, even if an on-line payment is received, the renter must be approved in advance by the owner Mrs. Wanda Ferragamo. Security deposit in cash upon check-in. Facilities Park (5000 m²) and oval swimming pool (13 x 7 m) with waterfall effect, changing room with showers, independent heating system, telephone, satellite TV, fax, Hi-Fi stereo, night time surveillance. In the villa there are several parking spaces available. The large kitchen is equipped with traditional burners and oven, double refrigerator, additional oven and burners, dishwasher, coffee machine, crockery, serving dishes, pots, and all the most useful and practical utensils. There are two outdoor washing machines, an iron and ironing board, and hairdryers in the bathrooms. There are mosquito nets on all windows. Bedroom, bathroom, and pool linens are provided, plus there is a linen change twice a week. There is not air conditioning; the villa is in any case cool. Staff: professional cook from 8 am to 2.30 pm (with 2 hour break) and from 4.30 pm to 10 pm 6 days per week (Sunday excluded); gardener; two cleaning staff from 8 am to 2.30 pm (with 2 hour break) and from 4.30 pm to 10 pm 6 days per week. Personal laundry service available upon request according to staff availability. There is, in addition, another bedroom with bathroom for the use of the staff that will sleep in the villa. | ||
